This photo was taken at Elizabeth Park when my daughter was nine months old and shortly after a vision followed – a tiny home with a patch of green space, big enough for the two of us and our sweet cat, nestled in the Columbia neighborhood. This image lingered in my mind for over a year and through a combination of connection and divine timing, the space I’d been dreaming up appeared – an amazing little 450 square foot detached home built in 1909 with a monthly rent that I could afford. This home isn’t just four walls but an embodiment of our journey together and I’m grateful to our kind neighbors who’ve welcomed us in and keep this community flowing in love.
