Bellingham For Everyone is a public-focused education campaign designed to encourage neighbors to be involved in local housing issues – we want to educate residents around housing policy and solutions in a way that is easy to understand, dispels common myths, uplifts underrepresented voices, and connects housing to community values.

BECOME AN ALLY

It will take all of us to make sure that we build an affordable, healthy, equitable, thriving, and inclusive community. Become an Ally and show your support! You can sign up for our newsletter to get information about events, actions, and opportunities to show your support for housing affordability and livability in Bellingham and Whatcom County.

SHARE YOUR STORY

Stories like yours help illustrate why a thriving city is stronger—and more livable and lovable—when we encourage more homes of all shapes and sizes to give all kinds of people plenty of affordable options and keep prices from shooting out of reach.

Get Involved

Speak up and show your support. Place a Bellingham For Everyone yard sign or flyer at your home or work. Submit a letter to the editor. Share the Bellingham For Everyone messaging on social media and let our community know you support innovative housing solutions!

Education

Want to learn about what’s going on near your home, or to help influence the decisions that local neighborhood associations are making? Then show up, attend your neighborhood association’s meeting, or even run for a seat on their board! We need to make sure that a wide range of experiences and backgrounds are represented at every level of civic engagement.
