City of Bellingham Council Meeting
City Council meetings, special meetings, work sessions, and committee meetings are open to the public. The Bellingham City Council Regular Meeting begins on scheduled Mondays at 7 pm with a virtual meeting. During a regular council meeting, you may:
- Listen and watch
- Present a new issue or raise a concern under the “Public Comment Period” section of the agenda and;
- Speak during a public hearing
- Attending a Bellingham City Council meeting is a great way to get involved! The City Council is the legislative body, responsible for setting public policies, adopting long-range plans, approving the budget and taxes, and passing laws.
